All systems glow: Apple's WWDC teaser hints at the new Siri

One week before WWDC, Apple is building anticipation for the keynote with a new slogan – and those who listen closely will already recognize what is probably the most important topic of the day. "All systems glow" is more than just a catchy phrase: the teaser likely directly alludes to the completely redesigned Siri interface in iOS 27.

Apple kicks off its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 8th, and as usual, the hype begins well in advance. The company officially announced the event with the slogan "All systems glow" - a play on words that only becomes clear upon closer inspection. Among the expected topics at this year's WWDC is a fundamentally redesigned Siri - and the teaser's wording points precisely in that direction.

"All systems glow" as a double entendre

The slogan is a variation on the phrase "all systems go," which means "everything is ready to go." The substitution of "go" for "glow" is hardly accidental: it likely alludes to Siri's new look. According to recently leaked images, Siri will receive a dark color scheme with glowing elements in iOS 27. This is expected to affect both a standalone Siri app and a new "Search or Ask" feature accessible via Dynamic Island.

All systems glow for a great #WWDC26 next week!

The earlier teaser also pointed in this direction

This isn't the first hint of its kind. Apple's previous WWDC slogan was "Coming bright up" - and it, along with the accompanying graphics, already alluded to the new design. Both teasers thus fit into the picture that Apple paints of its fundamental relaunch of the assistant in iOS 27: Siri is to become more visible, more independent, and more strongly focused on artificial intelligence.

"Glow all out": Free wallpaper and a playlist

Alongside the slogan, Apple has released further materials related to WWDC – and the "Glow" theme is consistently present throughout. Marketing chief Greg Joswiak kicked off the keynote with a decidedly upbeat message, accompanied by a new promotional video on YouTube whose playful music and animated Apple glow set the tone for the coming week. An official wallpaper with the fitting title "Glow all out" is available for free download – for iPhone, iPad, and Mac – complemented by an official Apple Music playlist called "WWDC26 Hello." All content can be found on the official WWDC26 website. The fact that even the wallpaper incorporates the "Glow" concept underscores how consistently Apple is using the theme – and once again references the luminous new design of Siri.
