Chinese leaker Ice Universe has shared an image showing four camera lens covers in colors that are rumored to match the iPhone 18 Pro. The image corroborates recent color leaks – including the striking Dark Cherry.
The color palette of the iPhone 18 Pro is becoming more concrete with each leak. After Macworld already mentioned four colors with Pantone codes last week, the Chinese leaker Ice Universe has now provided visual confirmation: A photo shows four anodized aluminum camera lens covers whose colors exactly match the previously reported options.

The protective plates published on Weibo are not from Apple itself, but from a third-party manufacturer that produces accessories to match the expected iPhone colors. Such accessory companies typically receive their information through Apple's supply chain – they need to know early enough to offer matching accessories in time for the launch. Therefore, the colors shown are considered another reliable indicator of the final color palette.
The four colors in comparison
The protective plates are labeled black, silver, burgundy, and blue. However, the "black" version is likely the previously leaked dark gray – because, according to an earlier leak from Weibo user Instant Digital, a true black will not be included in the Pro portfolio this year.
This results in the following picture:
- Dark Cherry (Wine Red) – the new signature color, significantly darker than the Cosmic Orange of the iPhone 17 Pro
- Light Blue – a light blue, similar to the Mist Blue of the iPhone 17
- Dark Gray – a dark gray tone
- Silver – the classic silver that Apple offers in almost every iPhone generation.
iPhone 18 Pro: Visual evidence for the color rumors
The photo of Ice Universe is valuable in that it visualizes the previously purely textual descriptions for the first time. The Dark Cherry color, in particular, appears significantly more understated and elegant on the protective plates than a vibrant red – thus confirming Mark Gurman's assessment that the shade is closer to a wine red than a bright red.
However, it's important to note that all four colors are still considered "in development." Apple has a history of canceling color options shortly before launch – for example, black and steel gray were reportedly being considered for the iPhone 17 Pro, but these colors ultimately didn't make it to market.
What is planned for the iPhone Ultra
Alongside the iPhone 18 Pro, Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone Ultra in September – the first foldable iPhone. According to the same leaks, its color palette will be significantly more understated: silver-white and an indigo tone are currently rumored, but no eye-catching, vibrant colors.
