With Apple Creator Studio, Apple is introducing a new subscription service specifically designed for creative professionals and ambitious content producers. Video editing, music production, photo editing, and visual productivity are combined for the first time in a single offering. Apple is responding to the growing importance of creator work and the demand for integrated, powerful tools on Mac, iPad, and iPhone.
Apple devices have played a central role in the creative lives of many users for years. Apple Creator Studio takes this approach a step further. The subscription combines established professional apps, new AI-powered features, and exclusive premium content. The goal is to simplify creative processes, accelerate workflows, and maintain artistic control. Data privacy remains an integral part of the concept, as many intelligent features run directly on the device.
What Apple Creator Studio includes
Apple Creator Studio is available as a universal subscription in the App Store. It includes:
- Final Cut Pro for Mac and iPad
- Logic Pro for Mac and iPad
- Pixelmator Pro for Mac and iPad
- Motion, Compressor and MainStage for Mac
- Intelligent features and premium content for Keynote, Pages and Numbers
- Additional premium features for Freeform will be added at a later date.
All apps are closely coordinated and utilize the power of modern Apple chips.
Video editing with new intelligent features
Final Cut Pro receives significant enhancements for Mac and iPad as part of Apple Creator Studio. The app is available both as part of the subscription and as a one-time purchase. Macs with Apple chips offer particularly high performance for demanding projects.
A key new feature is the transcript search. It allows users to find spoken content in videos by entering text. This makes it easy to quickly filter out specific statements from long interviews or podcast recordings. In addition, the visual search recognizes objects and actions in the footage and helps users find relevant clips.

The new beat detection automatically analyzes music and displays beats, bars, and song sections directly in the timeline. This allows for precise alignment of quick cuts with the music's rhythm. Adjusting music tracks to different lengths is also simplified.
The iPad also features a video editor. This uses AI to analyze video footage and automatically create dynamic videos. Pace, music, and format can be adjusted. Landscape format can be intelligently converted to portrait format, making it easier to post on social media platforms.
The subscription also includes Motion for creating 2D and 3D animations, as well as Compressor for flexible and professional export settings.
Music production with Logic Pro and MainStage
Logic Pro for Mac and iPad is being enhanced with several new AI-powered features. These are aimed at both experienced producers and users who want to create their own music for video or social media projects.
The new Synth Player complements the existing AI Session Player. It generates electronic performances with chord and bass elements and can be controlled in complexity and intensity using simple knobs. Synth Player accesses Logic Pro's extensive instrument and sound library and can also integrate external plug-ins or hardware synthesizers.

Chord ID analyzes audio or MIDI recordings and automatically creates chord progressions. Manual transcription is eliminated, and musical ideas can be developed more quickly. Since all session players are based on the chord track, different styles and genres can be easily explored.
Logic Pro for Mac receives a new sound library with Apple-designed packs and Producer Packs containing hundreds of royalty-free sounds. Quick Swipe Comping, an essential tool for vocal and instrumental recording, is now also available on iPad. Additionally, natural language search allows users to find loops using descriptions or reference recordings.
MainStage also includes a tool that transforms the Mac into a live instrument, a guitar rig, or a vocal processor. This allows the sound from the studio to be transferred directly to the stage.
Pixelmator Pro for the first time on the iPad
Pixelmator Pro has been a well-established image editing program on the Mac for years. With Apple Creator Studio, the app is now available for the iPad for the first time. The interface has been fully optimized for touch operation and offers comprehensive support for the Apple Pencil.
Pixelmator Pro offers layers for images, shapes, text, and video, as well as intelligent selection and masking tools. AI features like Super Resolution allow you to upscale photos without losing detail. Compression artifact removal and automatic cropping suggestions are also included.

The tight integration of hardware, software, and Apple chips enables fast and efficient editing, even on the go. A new warping tool allows users to freely shape and rotate layers. Additional warp-based product models are available on both Mac and iPad.
Visual productivity with Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Freeform
Keynote, Pages, and Numbers will remain free, but Apple Creator Studio will add premium content and smart features. A new Content Hub will offer curated photos, graphics, and illustrations. Subscribers will gain access to new premium templates and designs.
AI-powered tools enable the creation and editing of images from text, as well as the transformation of existing images. On-device models provide features such as super resolution and intelligent cropping.
Keynote now offers new features in a beta version, including the ability to generate presentation drafts from text and the automatic creation of presenter notes. Numbers is getting Magic Fill, a tool that recognizes patterns and automatically creates formulas. Freeform will also be expanded with premium features at a later date.
All productivity apps will continue to receive regular updates and support the new Liquid Glass design as well as improved window and menu functionality on iPadOS and macOS.
Prices and availability
Apple Creator Studio will be available in the App Store starting Wednesday, January 28. The price is €12.99 per month or €129 per year. New subscribers will receive a free one-month trial. Three months of free access are included with the purchase of a new qualifying Mac or iPad.
Students and teachers can get a discounted subscription for €2.99 per month or €29 per year. Up to six people can share a subscription via Family Sharing.
Alternatively, all professional apps remain available as a one-time purchase in the Mac App Store. Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform continue to be free and included with every new Apple device.
