Apple TV is among the big winners in the nomination round at the 37th annual Producers Guild Awards. With a total of seven nominations across films, series, documentaries, and children's programs, Apple is more strongly represented than any other provider. The awards are considered an important industry indicator, as they are presented by producers. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
Since its launch in 2019, Apple TV has consistently positioned itself as a platform for high-quality original content. Instead of relying on a large number of licensed titles, Apple focuses on its own productions with a clear creative vision. The renewed nominations from the Producers Guild of America continue a long list of accolades and demonstrate that this approach is consistently recognized within the industry.

The nominated productions in detail
„F1“
The Apple Original Films film tells the story of Sonny Hayes, played by Brad Pitt. In the 1990s, he was considered Formula 1's greatest talent until a serious accident nearly ended his career. Thirty years later, he lives as a nomadic race car driver until his former teammate Ruben Cervantes, portrayed by Javier Bardem, asks for his help. Ruben's Formula 1 team is on the verge of collapse. Sonny returns to Formula 1 for one last shot, driving alongside the young talent Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris. The film focuses not only on the sporting competition but also on personal conflicts, rivalry within the team, and the question of redemption.
„Severance“
The series follows Mark Scout, who leads a team at Lumon Industries whose members have undergone a medical separation procedure. Work and private life are strictly separated, including their memories. The experiment, intended as a solution for work-life balance, increasingly falters. The second season reveals the serious consequences of crossing the barrier of separation. The story evolves into a complex puzzle about identity, control, and self-determination.
„Pluribus“
„"Pluribus" is a genre-defying original series that blends drama, social satire, and unconventional narrative approaches. It centers on the unluckiest person in the world, who is unexpectedly tasked with saving the world from happiness. The series stands out primarily due to its unusual concept and tone.
„The Studio“
In the comedy series, Seth Rogen plays Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of the struggling Continental Studios. Matt and his management team navigate creative ambitions, financial pressures, and personal insecurities. Every casting decision, every marketing meeting, and every awards ceremony could mean the end of a career. The series is considered the most successful new comedy production in Apple TV history and has won numerous awards.
„Mr. Scorsese“
This documentary series paints a comprehensive portrait of director Martin Scorsese. With exclusive access to private archives and extensive conversations with Scorsese himself, as well as with collaborators such as Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Daniel Day-Lewis, Steven Spielberg, Jodie Foster, and Cate Blanchett, it offers a detailed look at his career and personal history. Director Rebecca Miller explores how Scorsese's life experiences have shaped his films, from his early student work to his most recent creations. Central themes include morality, guilt, and the fundamental nature of humanity.
„The Gorge“
The film tells the story of two highly skilled agents, played by Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy, stationed on watchtowers on opposite sides of a top-secret canyon. Their mission is to stop an unknown threat. As they grow closer across the distance, the extent of the danger to humanity becomes clear. To prevent catastrophe, they must work together and push themselves to their physical and mental limits.
„Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical“
This musical special is aimed at children and families and is set in a summer camp. Charlie Brown wants to make his last year at camp unforgettable, while Sally is skeptical about her first time. Meanwhile, Snoopy and Woodstock discover a treasure map that leads them on an adventure. The story focuses on friendship, change, and the desire to preserve what is important to us.
