Shortly before the expected September unveiling, leaked casing parts allegedly show the iPhone 18 Pro in three color variants. One of these is likely to be this year's signature color – a deep red reminiscent of the special color of its predecessor.
The color palette is always one of the most closely watched details of any new iPhone, and with the iPhone 18 Pro, another piece of the puzzle has now fallen into place. Images of casing parts have surfaced, purportedly showing three of the four rumored colors – a development that adds a concrete visual preview to the existing picture of the iPhone 18 Pro. However, the origin of the images is unclear, so a degree of caution is still advised.
Three case colors in leaked photos
The images were published by the account "yeux1122" on the Korean-language Naver blog. According to the post, they show production-ready frames for three of the four colors Apple is reportedly planning for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max: a dark red called Dark Cherry, a light blue (Light Blue), and a dark gray (Dark Gray). Since the source of the parts is not definitively established, it cannot be said with certainty whether these are indeed final production parts.

Dark Cherry as a possible special color of the vintage
The deep red color had already been a recurring topic. Several hints suggested that Apple was preparing a dark red for the Pro models – and that this color could become the defining accent color of the year. Dark Cherry would then assume a similar role to that of the striking Cosmic Orange on the iPhone 17 Pro: the distinctive signal color that visually defines a generation.

Silver as a fourth option and previous indications
Apple is expected to offer a fourth color, silver, which is not visible in the current images. Hints of the planned color palette had already surfaced previously: Macworld had previously published Pantone codes that supposedly correspond to the four colors Apple was testing. Additionally, these same four shades appeared on early leaked dummy models of the iPhone 18 Pro, providing further insight into the anticipated color scheme.

The final range will only be revealed in September
The Pro models are expected to be unveiled in September – along with Apple's first foldable iPhone, which is likely to come with its own color palette. Until then, the leaked case colors remain a strong indicator, but not a certainty: Which colors will actually make it to market will only be decided at the official unveiling.
