Three new Apple products could be released this week

After the iPhone event in September, attention is once again turning to Apple. Fall is traditionally the time when the company announces new devices that don't necessarily receive the spotlight of a major event. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, that could happen again right now. In his latest "Power On" newsletter, he writes that several new products could be unveiled this week – albeit without a keynote at Apple Park. Instead, Apple is likely to unveil the new products via a simple online announcement, as has often been the case in recent years.

Apple's next wave of products is apparently imminent. After the iPhone 17 was already introduced, the company is now expected to unveil more devices equipped with new chips. According to Gurman, at least two products are certain: the new iPad Pro and the Vision Pro, both with the brand-new M5 chip. A new MacBook Pro is also on the horizon, also with the M5, albeit only in the base version for now. The more expensive versions with the M5 Pro and M5 Max are not expected until early next year. This continues Apple's strategy of releasing products in stages to better spread technological leaps throughout the year.

M5 chip to usher in a new performance generation

According to current information, the M5 will be the heart of the new device generation. It is expected to offer greater performance and efficiency, particularly optimized for AI-based applications. In the new iPad Pro, the chip is expected to ensure noticeably faster workflows, while the Vision Pro could run even more smoothly thanks to the additional processing power. Gurman refers to an "impending release" in his report, suggesting that the unveiling is imminent.

The MacBook Pro is also on the list, according to Bloomberg. Apple will likely introduce a new model this week featuring the M5 chip in the entry-level model. However, users will have to wait for the more powerful M5 Pro and M5 Max variants. These models aren't scheduled to be released until early 2026.

No stage, no event – Apple relies on online formats

Instead of a traditional presentation, there will likely be no keynote this time. According to Gurman, Apple will announce the new products directly online – via its own website and official channels. This approach has become established in recent years, especially for product updates that don't require a big show. It allows the company to bring new devices to market quickly and easily.

Other products are not available for the time being

Anyone hoping for updates to the HomePod mini, Apple TV, or AirTag will have to wait a little longer. Gurman explains that while these devices are still on the internal roadmap, they currently don't have a firm release date. They were originally expected to arrive before the end of 2025, but so far, Apple hasn't given any concrete indication. So, it's unlikely anything in this direction will happen this week.

Outlook for 2026

Apple works loudly Gurman Apple is already working on additional devices scheduled for release next year and beyond. These include an iPad with the A18 chip and a new iPad Air with the M4 chip. Two new external monitors for Mac are also in development, which are expected to offer better displays and higher resolutions.

Also particularly interesting is a new iPhone 17e, which is scheduled to launch in the first half of 2026. This model could position itself between the standard and Pro devices, thus introducing a new price and feature category.

Apple launches the next hardware generation with the M5 chip

Apple is apparently about to release three new products—all centered around the M5 chip. The iPad Pro, Vision Pro, and MacBook Pro are expected to be unveiled in the coming days. While there are no major presentations this time, the technological progress remains clearly evident. Apple continues to rely on its own chips, staggered releases, and a long-term product strategy that extends into 2026. Anyone keeping an eye on the company's upcoming developments should soon see the next generation of Apple hardware taking shape. (Image: Apple)
