Following the unveiling of several new devices, Apple has updated its Self Service Repair Store. Official repair manuals for various recent products have been released, including the iPhone 17e, new MacBook models, current iPad Air variants, and new Studio Displays.

The documentation is intended to enable users to maintain devices independently or to carry out certain repairs themselves.

The Self Service Repair Store has been available since 2022. Through this platform, Apple provides original replacement parts, specialized tools, and official repair manuals in supported regions. Tools can be purchased or rented for repairs.

With the latest update, Apple is expanding the program once again and providing new technical guides for several current generations of devices.

New repair manuals for several Apple devices

Apple has published repair manuals for the following devices:

  • iPhone 17e
  • iPad Air 11-inch (M4) Wi-Fi
  • iPad Air 11 inch (M4) Wi-Fi + Cellular
  • iPad Air 13-inch (M4) Wi-Fi
  • iPad Air 13 inch (M4) Wi-Fi + Cellular
  • MacBook Air (13-inch, M5)
  • MacBook Air (15-inch, M5)
  • MacBook Neo (13 inch, A18 Pro)
  • MacBook Pro (14-inch, M5 Pro or M5 Max, 2026)
  • MacBook Pro (16-inch, M5 Pro or M5 Max, 2026)
  • Studio Display (2026)
  • Studio Display XDR

The manuals contain technical information, repair instructions, and information on the respective components of the devices.

Spare parts should follow soon

The Self Service Repair Store does not currently offer spare parts or tools specifically for these new devices. However, since the repair manuals already contain information on the required components, it can be assumed that Apple will make these parts available soon.

Apple expands self-repair options for iPhone, Mac and iPad

With the new repair manuals, Apple is once again expanding its self-service repair program. The documentation covers current devices such as the iPhone 17e, new MacBooks with M5 chips, iPad Air models with M4, and the latest Studio Displays. Replacement parts and tools are expected to be available in the Self Service Repair Store in the near future. (Image: Apple)
