October is over, and everything at Apple points to a jam-packed November. New software versions, fresh hardware, and exciting series premieres on Apple TV are on the horizon. The company is apparently using late autumn to really ramp things up before the end of the year. iOS 26.1, new devices like the Apple TV 4K and the HomePod mini 2, and the science fiction drama Pluribus are generating particular buzz.

Apple continues its tradition of ending the year with major updates and new products in November. Following the M5 iPad Pro, the new MacBook Pro, and the Vision Pro in October, further announcements are now on the way. The focus is not only on improving existing systems but also on expanding the offerings in the smart home and entertainment sectors. This month should therefore be exciting for all Apple users – with new features, improved devices, and fresh content.

iOS 26.1 and other software updates

Apple will be rolling out a large wave of software updates in the coming days. iOS 26.1 brings a whole host of new features. The Liquid Glass feature gets a new "Tinted" setting that reduces transparency and improves readability. In Music, users will now be able to swipe on the MiniPlayer to change songs. Alarms and timers now use "Slide to Stop" instead of a stop button – a small but practical change.

AirPods Live Translation is also being expanded and now supports additional languages. Apple Intelligence is gaining eight new languages, thus broadening its capabilities for users worldwide. In addition, there are new settings for customizing the iPhone, as well as some visual changes, such as a new app logo for Apple TV.

iPadOS 26.1 brings back Slide Over, a new form of multitasking. This allows you to permanently pin an app over other windows – ideal for notes, messaging apps, or music controls. macOS Tahoe also introduces the "Tinted" Liquid Glass option, extending the new design concept across all devices. The remaining updates, including watchOS and tvOS, primarily contain minor tweaks.

Three or more new hardware products are under discussion.

In recent years, Apple has typically held its last major product launches in October. 2025 could be different. In addition to the devices already released – the M5 iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, and Vision Pro – at least three new products are expected in November.

A new Apple TV 4K is reportedly about to be released. It is said to be equipped with the A17 Pro chip, which supports Apple Intelligence, and will also include the N1 chip. There are also indications of an integrated camera, which would allow video calls directly through the TV.

A HomePod mini 2 is also being discussed. It is expected to feature improved audio quality, faster internal chips, and possibly new color options.

The AirTag 2 is also expected soon. It will likely feature an improved ultra-wideband module for more precise tracking and additional security features. While rumors of a more affordable 12.9-inch MacBook persist, a market launch in early 2026 is more realistic.

The first iOS 26.2 betas

Shortly after the public release of iOS 26.1, Apple is expected to release the first iOS 26.2 betas. Beta testers could gain access as early as next week. Should the schedule be slightly delayed, the testing phase should begin no later than the second week of November.

The final version is expected to be released in mid-December, as usual, in time for the holidays. Since iOS 26.1 is being released slightly later than planned, Apple is under pressure this time to maintain its usual release schedule.

Pluribus launches on Apple TV

Apple has a lot planned for streaming this November. The most talked-about new release is undoubtedly the series "Pluribus," which premieres on Apple TV on November 7. This science fiction drama comes from Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, and is already considered one of the biggest projects Apple TV has ever produced. Media outlets like the New York Times are already praising Pluribus as "as big as modern television can be." Expectations are correspondingly high, and there are strong indications that Apple could have landed its next hit series after Severance. In addition to Pluribus, other series and film releases are planned to expand the streaming offerings in November.

Apple's November 2025 is all about progress.

Apple is entering the final stretch of the year with full force. iOS 26.1 and its accompanying updates bring visible and practical improvements to all devices. New hardware like the Apple TV 4K, the HomePod mini 2, and the AirTag 2 demonstrate Apple's continued investment across its entire ecosystem. At the same time, Apple TV's Pluribus feature is generating fresh buzz in the streaming sector. November 2025 is clearly all about further development and expansion. Apple is using the last weeks of the year not for looking back, but for progress – once again setting the tone for the competition.
