The Apple Vision Pro is an impressive piece of technology that offers you a unique and immersive experience. To ensure that your device always works optimally and has a long lifespan, regular and thorough cleaning is essential. In this article, you will learn everything you need to know about the proper care and cleaning of your Vision Pro. With these tips, your device will stay in top condition and continue to deliver top-notch performance.

A clean Vision Pro not only guarantees clear vision and optimal performance but also helps to extend the life of your device. The following section will guide you through the cleaning process step by step. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully to avoid possible damage and ensure that your Vision Pro is fully functional.

Preparation and general information

Before you start cleaning, make sure your Vision Pro is turned off and you have unplugged the power cord. Place the device on a stable surface such as a table or desk. Have a clean, dry microfiber cloth ready, ideally one that came with your Vision Pro.

Cleaning the cover and display glasses

The cover and display lenses of your Vision Pro should always be clean and free of smudges to ensure optimal vision. Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth to do this. Avoid liquids or chemicals as these can damage the glass. If you have ZEISS optic inserts, follow the manufacturer's specific cleaning instructions.

Cleaning the light seal and the light seal pad

  • Light Seal: Remove the Light Seal from the device and wipe it with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth. Alternatively, hand wash it with warm water and an unscented, dye-free dishwashing detergent. Make sure the Light Seal is completely dry before reapplying.
  • Light Seal Cushion: Remove the cushion and wipe it with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth. Hand-washing with warm water and fragrance-free detergent is also possible. Allow the cushion to dry completely before using it again.

Cleaning the headbands

To clean the Solo Knit Band or Dual Loop Band, wipe them with a soft, lint-free cloth. If a more thorough cleaning is needed, remove the bands from the device and hand wash them with an unscented, dye-free dish soap. Do not use the device until the bands are completely dry.

Cleaning the battery and power cord

Wipe the battery and power cord with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid contact of moisture with electrical connections. If necessary, you can clean the cord with a slightly damp cloth and then let it dry thoroughly.

Cleaning the Apple Vision Pro Polishing Cloth

Wash the Polishing Cloth in the washing machine or by hand as needed and let it air dry. Make sure to keep the cloth clean at all times to avoid scratching the cover glass of your Vision Pro.

Cleaning the transport cover

Wipe the outside and inside of the carrying case with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth. You can use a soapy water solution if necessary. Allow the case to dry completely before using it again.

Important care tips for your Apple Vision Pro

Regular and thorough cleaning of your Vision Pro is essential to ensure its functionality and longevity. Follow the steps above and be careful not to use harsh cleaning agents or chemicals. These tips will keep your Vision Pro in top condition and continue to provide you with an unparalleled experience. By properly caring for your Vision Pro, you'll ensure you always get the most out of your device. Enjoy your clean and powerful Vision Pro! Looking for new accessories?
