The Apple Vision Pro is an impressive device that allows you to effortlessly perform everyday tasks using your voice. With Siri integration, you can unlock the full potential of your Apple Vision Pro. In this article, you'll learn how to set up and use Siri on your Apple Vision Pro to make your life easier and more productive.

The voice assistant Siri has evolved considerably since its introduction. On the Vision Pro, Siri is not just a helpful tool, but an indispensable companion in everyday life. From translating a sentence to controlling your device by simply looking at apps - Siri offers a wide range of possibilities. Let's take a look at how you can set up Siri and get the most out of it.

Apple Vision Pro: Setting up Siri

Basic Settings

If you didn't activate Siri when you first set up your Apple Vision Pro, you can easily do so:

  • Go to Settings > Siri & Search.
  • Turn on “Listen for Hey Siri or Siri.”

Configure voice responses

Siri is designed to intelligently detect whether to respond aloud or not. If you prefer Siri to always respond aloud, follow these steps:

  • Go to Settings > Siri & Search > Siri Responses.
  • Tap “Preferred spoken responses.”

Activate Siri with your voice

Activating Siri on your Vision Pro is very easy:

  • Say “Siri” followed by your question or request.
  • For example, say “Siri, remind me to leave in 20 minutes” or look at an app and say “Siri, open this app.”

Notice

If you do not want Vision Pro to respond to Siri, you can disable this function:

  • Go to Settings > Siri & Search.
  • Turn off “Listen for ‘Hey Siri’ or ‘Siri’”.

Correction of misunderstandings

If Siri misunderstands you, there are simple ways to correct it:

  • Rephrase your request.
  • Spell your request: Say “call” and then spell the person’s name.
  • Change a message before sending: Say "Change it."

Type instead of speaking to Siri

For situations where you would rather write than speak:

  • Go to Settings > Accessibility > Siri.
  • Enable “Write to Siri.”
  • Activate Siri and use the keyboard to enter your request.

Use the Magic Keyboard

If you have a Magic Keyboard connected, you can activate Siri by pressing Fn-S.

Increase your efficiency

With Siri on your Apple Vision Pro, you can make your everyday life more efficient. Whether you need quick answers, want to control apps, or set reminders – Siri is always there. Set up Siri today and experience how easy and convenient controlling your Apple Vision Pro can be. Looking for new accessories?
