Apple just concluded its iPhone 17 keynote, but the company's roadmap is far from complete. Ten more product launches are planned for the coming months, half of which are scheduled for release in 2025. The rest will follow in early 2026. Apple is clearly focusing on the new M5 chip, improvements in the smart home sector, and expanded integration of Apple Intelligence.
While the September 2025 keynote was exciting, not everything could be presented or released immediately. According to Bloomberg 's Mark Gurman, several launches are still scheduled before the end of the year, some as early as next month. What's particularly interesting is that many existing devices are receiving performance updates, while entirely new categories are emerging.
The next product launches in 2025
M5 iPad Pro
The new iPad Pro will be equipped with the M5 chip, which is expected to deliver significant efficiency improvements. A second front-facing camera, positioned in portrait mode, is also planned. There is also speculation that the square selfie camera sensor from the iPhone 17 will also be used in this model.
M5 Vision Pro
The Vision Pro will also receive an update to the M5 chipset. The hardware itself won't change, so the headset is unlikely to be lighter or thinner. However, a new strap and a Space Black version are expected.
AirTag 2
The AirTag 2 features the new U2 chip, which provides improved precision tracking, similar to that found in the AirPods Pro 3.
Apple TV and HomePod mini
Apple TV and HomePod mini will both be equipped with a new processor and the N1 networking chip, which was already introduced in the iPhone 17. Apple TV will also receive support for the new Siri voice assistant and Apple Intelligence features, which will be available starting in 2026. New colors are also being discussed for the HomePod mini.
Announcements in early 2026
M5 MacBook Pro
The MacBook Pro will receive an update in early 2026. A major design change with an OLED display and a thinner chassis isn't scheduled until late 2026. Until then, the design will remain the same, but the M5 will provide more performance.
M5 MacBook Air
The MacBook Air will also switch to the M5 chip in the first quarter of 2026. As with the MacBook Pro, the changes are limited to the chip, which incorporates improvements from the A19 Pro on a larger scale.
New Mac display
Apple is currently working on two new external monitors, one of which is already on the horizon. Expected to be an updated version of the Studio Display or the Pro Display XDR. Both versions are expected to have a 27-inch diagonal, positioning them more as successors to the Studio Display.
iPhone 17e
The iPhone 16e will be followed by the iPhone 17e in spring 2026. It will feature a faster A19 chip and receive minor improvements, continuing the annual update strategy in this segment.
Smart Home Hub
A Smart Home Hub is also planned for the first months of 2026. This device will serve as a central Siri hub and facilitate the control of smart home components. The launch was originally planned for last year, but the delay in Apple Intelligence Siri pushed the schedule back. The hub is now finally scheduled to appear with the release of iOS 26.4.
New devices, more performance: What Apple is planning in the coming months
The next few months will be particularly busy for Apple. Several important products are planned for 2025, including the new iPad Pro, the Vision Pro, the AirTag 2, and updates to Apple TV and HomePod mini. The MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, a new display, the iPhone 17e, and the long-awaited Smart Home Hub will follow in early 2026. At the heart of many of these devices is the M5 chip, which promises significant performance improvements. At the same time, Apple is continuing to push forward with the integration of Apple Intelligence, making Siri and the entire ecosystem smarter and better connected.
