The beta version of WhatsApp has now received update 2.21.200.11. This update not only brings redesigned chat bubbles to users, but also provides additional options for "self-deleting messages."
According to WABetaInfo, this new beta is being rolled out to public testers and includes some interesting changes. As some of you may remember, we already reported on redesigned chat bubbles. Now WABetaInfo has more details on this providedNot only will they get a new look, but they'll also appear more rounded. But that's not all. WhatsApp is working on introducing useful tools to improve "self-deleting messages." From now on, users will be able to choose between different time periods, including 4 hours, 7 days, or 90 days. Here's how WhatsApp describes it:
WhatsApp update: New features could be introduced soon
Make messages in this chat disappear - For more privacy and storage space, all new messages in this chat will disappear for everyone after the selected duration. Anyone in the chat can change this setting.
It will also be possible to activate the "Default Message Timer" in WhatsApp's privacy settings. This will activate the "Self-Deleting Messages" option for all new chats for the selected duration, according to WABetaInfo. Since the aforementioned features are already in beta testing, it shouldn't be too long before all users have access to them. (Photo by Denys Prykhodov / Bigstockphoto)
