Apple Arcade is gearing up for new releases and updates next month. The highlight is a major new action-adventure game in a popular series, along with three additional titles for its family-friendly catalog. Limited-time events and new challenges will also be running alongside, expanding existing games.
Apple Arcade sticks to its familiar formula: games without ads or in-app purchases, but with regular new content. The program mixes major releases with smaller, quick games and updates that revive old favorites. March showcases this diversity particularly well: role-playing adventures, puzzle classics, cozy setups, and crossover events.
Oceanhorn 3: Legend of the Shadow Sea launches on March 5th exclusively on Apple Arcade
Oceanhorn 3: Legend of the Shadow Sea will be released exclusively on Apple Arcade on March 5th. The game is the latest chapter in the popular action-RPG-adventure series and takes place almost a thousand years after the events of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm. Players will discover lost islands, battle titans, and uncover the secrets of a world on the brink of rebirth. The game is designed to appeal to both fans and newcomers.

Heikki Repo, creator of the Oceanhorn series and Creative Director at Cornfox & Brothers, describes the release as the culmination of five years of work. He also emphasizes that something special has been created with Apple's support and that the new world will offer strong characters and an unforgettable story.

Technology, platforms and gameplay: 3D in console quality
Oceanhorn 3 is described as a visually stunning 3D gaming experience and is playable on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro. The graphics are considered console-quality, and the game features a deep story that is a logical continuation of the existing epic narrative.

Players who enjoy role-playing games will find a blend of exploration, combat, and puzzles here. Oceanhorn 3 also features innovative movement and combat mechanics. The combat system is designed to feel intuitive, be rewarding, and still offer enough depth to be mastered at one's own pace.
Three more games on March 5th: Pocket Love!+, Flow Free+ and Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story+

Also on March 5th, three "Legendary Games of the App Store" will be added to the Apple Arcade catalog. These will also be ad-free and without in-app purchases.
- Pocket Love!+: A shared move with partner and pet into a lovingly designed new home that is furnished and decorated.
- Flow Free+: A puzzle game where fields of the same color are connected by pipes.
- Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story+: A management game centered around a candy store, run in partnership with the well-known manga character Doraemon.
Updates and events: Star Wars at Disney SpellStruck, Paddington at Crayola, and Super Bowl feeling at Retro Bowl

Apple Arcade isn't just about new games, but also about regular updates:
- February 19: Disney SpellStruck expands its universe "into a galaxy far, far away" with a Star Wars update. New levels inspired by Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope are being added, along with Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Chewbacca as playable characters.
- Before that, there's a limited-time event: The "Snowy Day" event in Crayola Create and Play+ with Paddington is available exclusively on Apple Arcade until February 18th.
- For football fans, NFL Retro Bowl '26 offers a new challenge based on last weekend's Super Bowl LX. Players can invite friends to play as the Seattle Seahawks or New England Patriots and compete for the top spot on the leaderboard. The challenge can be started either via the new option on the score selection screen or through the Apple Games app.
