Apple has announced details of the schedule for the upcoming WWDC 2020 via a press release, confirming a digital live event and more.

This year's World Wide Developer Conference will be held entirely digitally for the first time and, according to Apple, will be the "biggest WWDC to date" as all developers around the world can participate for free. The traditional keynote will take place on Monday, June 22nd at 10:00 a.m. PDT (7:00 p.m. in this country) and will officially kick off the developer fair. As always, there will be a livestream directly from Apple Park, which can be accessed via the official homepage, the developer app and website, Apple TV app and YouTube. Now in its 31st year, WWDC20 will be the largest WWDC yet, bringing together Apple's global developer community of more than 23 million in an unprecedented, virtual way from June 22-26. Apple today shared the WWDC20 lineup, including the keynote and Platforms State of the Union timing, as well as information on how developers can learn about the future of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS and engage with Apple engineers.

There will be a "Platforms State of the Union" to give developers a deeper look at the latest updates to iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS. The event can be accessed via the Apple Developer app and on the Apple Developer website. In addition, Apple is planning more than 100 technical and design-focused engineering sessions from June 23 to June 26, with new videos available each day at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (7 p.m. UK time) in the Apple Developer app and on the Apple Developer website.

In addition to software, hardware could also be revealed

On June 18, Apple plans to unveil all new developer forums, where the developer community can connect with over 1,000 Apple engineers to ask technical questions and participate in discussions. Entries will then be accessible to everyone from June 22. Further details will be provided soon in the Apple Developer app. At WWDC 2020, Apple is expected to unveil iOS 14, iPadOS, tvOS 14, watchOS 7 and macOS 10.16. In addition, products such as a completely new iMac, AirTags as well as AirPods Studio If one leaker is to be believed, Apple could launch the first in-house ARM chip We will of course report on all the details as usual and summarize the event afterwards - stay tuned and don't miss anything. (Image: Apple)
