Apple has now reminded developers to start creating in-app events before the feature and new App Store tools for highlighting such events are rolled out.
The new feature, introduced in iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, is designed to allow developers to create and promote in-app events such as game competitions, movie premieres or live streams. According to Apple, users can discover in-app events through special sections in the App Store, in search results or in editorially curated selections.
