Apple TV+ enters fall 2025 with one of its strongest monthly programming slates since the streaming service's inception. Several top-notch series are returning with new seasons, along with exclusive film productions and a thriller debut starring Jessica Chastain. From drama to espionage to romance, nearly every genre is represented on Apple TV+ in September.
Since its launch in 2019, Apple TV+ has gradually established itself among the major streaming providers. With a subscription price of €9.99 per month, Apple consistently focuses on quality and exclusive original productions. Series such as Ted Lasso, Severance, Silo, and Shrinking have proven that Apple TV+ impresses both critics and viewers. September 2025 marks another highlight in the programming calendar: sequels to popular series will join new films and a thriller series that addresses current social issues.
Highest 2 Lowest – film releases on September 5th

The first big title of the month is the crime thriller Highest 2 Lowest. It centers on a music mogul, played by Denzel Washington, who is considered the "best ear" in the industry. He falls victim to a ransom plot and must navigate a moral conflict that threatens life and death. Directed by Spike Lee, who has collaborated with Washington several times before, the film is based on Akira Kurosawa's High and Low, but is set in present-day New York.
The Morning Show – Season 4 from September 17

The fourth season of The Morning Show takes place almost two years after the events of the third season. Following the merger of UBA and NBN, the editorial team is confronted with new structures, power struggles, and uncertainties. In an America dominated by deepfakes, conspiracy theories, and corporate cover-ups, the question of truth and trust becomes a central challenge. In addition to Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, the cast also includes Billy Crudup, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie, Nestor Carbonell, Mark Duplass, Greta Lee, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, Boyd Holbrook, and Jon Hamm.
Slow Horses – Season 5 from September 24

The British spy series Slow Horses also returns in September. It centers on a team of secret agents who, due to mistakes in their careers, have been relegated to a department of MI5. Led by Jackson Lamb, played by Gary Oldman, they must nevertheless deal with threats to England's security. The tone of the series remains dark, cynical, and at the same time suspenseful.
All of You – film releases on September 26th

The film All of You explores the question of whether one person can truly be everything to you. Simon, played by Brett Goldstein, and Laura, played by Imogen Poots, have been best friends since college and harbor unspoken feelings for each other. However, a test that determines a person's soulmate changes their relationship. Over the years, their paths cross repeatedly, while both wrestle with the question of whether they've missed out on living together.
The Savant – series starts on September 26th

Apple TV+ is launching a new thriller series, The Savant. Jessica Chastain stars as an undercover investigator who infiltrates online hate groups. Her goal is to stop domestic extremists before they can carry out attacks. The series addresses highly topical issues surrounding radicalization and digital networks.
Ongoing series with new episodes
In addition to the new releases, Apple TV+ will also continue several current productions in September with weekly episodes:
- Foundation until 12 September

- Invasion until October 24
This keeps the program varied and continually offers new episodes for different target groups.
