Apple remains one of the world's leading technology companies, regularly releasing new devices. Several products are still on the list for 2026, which Apple is expected to unveil throughout the year. Apple has already released some updates in late 2025 and early 2026, including new iPads and Macs. Nevertheless, numerous other devices are planned.
Many upcoming Apple products are traditionally unveiled in the fall. Apple usually holds presentations in September and October for this purpose. New iPhones, Apple Watches, and other hardware are typically released during this time. However, Apple may also announce new products outside of this period.
An overview of current information shows which devices Apple might present later in 2026.
Apple continuously evolves its product lines. While some devices only receive new chips or minor improvements, in certain years the company also launches completely new device designs.
For 2026, there are strong indications that Apple is preparing both traditional updates and new technologies. In addition to new Macs and iPhones, smart home devices, audio products, and possibly a new MacBook with OLED technology are also expected.
The following is a list of all known Apple products that, according to recent reports, could still be released during 2026.
New Apple products expected in 2026
Affordable iPad

Apple is still working on a new version of its affordable iPad. This model was actually expected at the last Apple announcements, but surprisingly did not appear in the presentation.
According to current information, the upcoming model will not receive any major design changes. Instead, Apple is focusing on upgrading the internal hardware. Planned changes could include:
- an A18 chip or A19 chip
- Support for Apple Intelligence
- still an affordable entry-level device
The new chip could make the iPad significantly more powerful and simultaneously support new software features.
New Mac Studio

An update for Mac Studio is expected later this year. The powerful desktop computer is primarily aimed at professional users, for example in the fields of video, graphics, or software development. The new version could be released by mid-year.
The device's exterior appearance is not expected to change. The update will focus on more powerful chips. Expected features:
- M5 Max Chip
- either M4 Ultra or M5 Ultra chip
This would significantly improve the performance of Mac Studio once again.
New Mac mini

The Mac mini is also set to receive a new generation. This compact desktop system is one of the smallest computers in Apple's portfolio.
The new models could be released after the Mac Studio update. Planned changes:
- M5 chip
- M5 Pro Chip
No design changes are currently expected. Apple is focusing primarily on increased performance and efficiency with this model.
New iMac models

The iMac line will also be updated. New models will likely be introduced after Mac Studio.
In addition to technical improvements, Apple could also offer new colors. Possible new features:
- Integration of the M5 chip
- new color options
- Performance improvements compared to the current generation
The iMac thus remains Apple's all-in-one computer for everyday use, office work, and creative applications.
iPhone Fold

One of Apple's most interesting projects is a foldable iPhone. According to recent reports, it will be a smartphone in book format.
The device should have a display that can be used both when folded and when unfolded.
The presentation could take place in September 2026. Apple could unveil the device alongside the new Pro iPhones.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max

New iPhones are traditionally released every September. However, a slightly different release schedule is expected for 2026. Apple might initially only present the Pro models.
- iPhone 18 Pro
- iPhone 18 Pro Max
These devices are expected to be unveiled alongside the iPhone Fold. A regular iPhone 18 or a potential iPhone Air 2 might not be released this year.
This would mark the first time Apple has introduced a split release cycle for its iPhone line.
Apple Watch Series 12

Alongside new iPhones, Apple usually also introduces a new Apple Watch. The Apple Watch Series 12 is expected in 2026.
The new generation is expected to primarily include internal improvements.
Major design changes are not currently planned. The frequently discussed non-invasive blood glucose monitoring will also likely require several more years of development.
Smart Home Hub

Apple is also working on a new device for the smart home. This product is often referred to as the Smart Home Hub. The hub is intended to centrally control various smart home devices and Apple services.
The launch has apparently been postponed. This is due to problems with a revised version of Siri that Apple is currently working on. The presentation is now expected to take place possibly in September 2026.
New Apple TV 4K

A new Apple TV 4K is also in development. Its release also depends on the new Siri version. Expected new features include:
- A17 Pro chip
- Support for Apple Intelligence
- N1 network chip
According to current information, no major changes to the design are planned.
New HomePod mini

Apple is also planning a new generation of the HomePod mini. Its release could also be affected by delays in the new Siri version. Possible improvements:
- new Apple Watch chip
- N1 network chip
- updated UWB chip
These changes could further improve integration into Apple's smart home system.
New high-end AirPods Pro

Apple is also working on new AirPods Pro. These could include several interesting technical innovations.
One of the most striking changes is the potential integration of tiny infrared cameras. These could be used for:
- Features related to Apple Intelligence
- so-called Visual Intelligence
- new interactions with other Apple devices
The presentation will likely take place in September or October 2026.
OLED MacBook

Another possible new device is a high-end MacBook with an OLED display. This model could be called the MacBook Ultra. Expected features include:
- a touch-enabled OLED display
- powerful hardware
- Premium positioning in the MacBook lineup
The market launch is currently expected towards the end of 2026.
Apple products that may not be released in 2026
Apple Watch Ultra

The Apple Watch Ultra was last updated in September 2025. A new model could theoretically be released in September 2026.
However, Apple does not necessarily update this product line every year. At the same time, the company continues to work on developing non-invasive blood glucose monitoring.
Therefore, it is still unclear whether Apple will actually introduce a new Apple Watch Ultra in 2026 or postpone the update.
Apple Watch SE

The situation is similar with the Apple Watch SE. The current model, the Apple Watch SE 3, was released in September 2025.
Apple doesn't update this more affordable model line every year. Therefore, it's possible that no new SE model will be released in 2026. However, there's no official confirmation of this yet.
Apple's software updates in 2026
In addition to new hardware, Apple is also planning extensive software updates.
The annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place in June 2026. Apple traditionally unveils the next generation of its operating systems there. Updates are expected for the following platforms this year:
- iOS 27
- iPadOS 27
- macOS 27
- tvOS 27
- watchOS 27
- visionOS 27
These updates bring new features to existing devices. Users can thus gain access to new features without having to purchase new hardware.
The presentation will take place in June. The final versions of the operating systems are expected to be released in September 2026.
Further new products are planned
Apple has several new devices in the pipeline for later in 2026. These include new Macs, a foldable iPhone, updated AirPods Pro, a smart home hub, and other hardware for the Apple ecosystem.
A large portion of these products are expected to be unveiled in the fall, when Apple traditionally holds its most important events. At the same time, the company is working on new software versions that will enhance existing devices with additional features.
This ensures that Apple will remain a key player in the technology market in 2026, continuing to rely on a combination of hardware innovation and software development.
