Popular accessory manufacturer Anker has introduced a new line of MagSafe compatible accessories for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, offered under the new brand name "MagGo". Now we've taken a closer look at the 623 Magnetic Wireless Charger.
Anker recently introduced a range of new charging products, aimed at Apple's iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series. In this article, we take a look at the brand new Anker 623 Magnetic Wireless Charger, a 2-in-1 charger. The new charger features a compact can-shaped design and offers two charging surfaces.
That said, this wireless charger features a charging platform on the top that can be tilted to a maximum angle of 60° and can magnetically hold and charge iPhones (12th & 13th Gen) horizontally or vertically at up to 7.5W.
Magnetic charging station available in four colors
Under the charging platform there is a second wireless charging pad with an output power of 5 W, which is perfect for AirPods or other headphones. The model is available in a total of four colors, including white, black, blue and lavender. A matching USB-C charging cable with a 20 W power adapter is included.
The price is 69.99 euros positioned. But is it worth the money? Of course I took a closer look at the charger and have to admit that the design is really unique - a real eye-catcher. The workmanship is also good as always. But the highlight is basically the magnet.

While charging, you can make FaceTime calls or read notifications. If you rotate the iPhone, you can watch a series while working, for example. AirPods can also be charged at the same time, which can definitely be an advantage.
In addition, the iPhone can be detached from the magnetic charger with one hand, as it has the appropriate weight, which means it is not "pulled along", a problem that can occur with other MagSafe-compatible charging stations. The rubberized bottom also ensures more slip resistance. All in all, Anker has once again done everything right with the new MagGo 2-in-1 charging station. If you like the unique design, you will certainly get your money's worth, even if the price of 69.99 euros is certainly a bit high.
