Aside from the rumors surrounding the headset, Apple could unveil even more hardware at WWDC 2023: A number of new MacBook models are expected to be presented.
Although WWDC is essentially just for software and developers, Apple has often unveiled new hardware there. For 2023, it looks like the list of new releases at the event could include some MacBook models. According to the Bloomberg newsletter "Power On," indicates Mark Gurman said some new MacBook models will be unveiled at the event. However, he did not say which models exactly would be presented. Gurman stated that a wide range of Macs are on the way, including a 15-inch MacBook Air, an updated 13-inch MacBook Air, a new entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro, an updated 24-inch iMac, and the first Mac Pro with Apple Silicon.
Which Mac models will Apple unveil at WWDC 2023?
Two successors to the Mac Studio are also apparently planned. All models are scheduled to launch either in 2023 or early 2024, with the exception of the Mac Studio updates, for which the schedule is "less clear." Gurman believes "at least some" notebook models will be unveiled at WWDC. However, there is a "major caveat" that they likely won't use M3 chips and will instead stick with the M2 generation. New MacBooks have appeared in apparent test logs, including a 15-inch MacBook Air, which could be a hint as to which models might appear at WWDC 2023. (Image: Apple)
