Apple could soon unveil new versions of the Apple TV and the HomePod mini. According to a report by Mark Gurman, known for his well-informed Apple coverage at Bloomberg, there's a good chance both devices will be released in November. Evidence from retailers and declining inventory of current models suggests an imminent launch.

For years, Apple TV has been considered the centerpiece of Apple's living room entertainment strategy. Together with the HomePod mini, it forms the basis of a connected smart home system that works seamlessly with Siri and other Apple devices. After several years without major innovations, Apple now appears to be preparing an update that will not only improve the hardware but also support the upcoming functionality of Apple Intelligence and Siri.

Apple plans nightly store updates

According to Gurman, Apple Stores will perform an overnight update on the evening of November 11th. After closing time, product displays will be adjusted and new devices may be prepared. Gurman points out that while this nightly redesign could be related to the holiday season, it also suggests a product launch. The upcoming Apple TV and the new HomePod mini are primarily intended to support the features planned for next year surrounding Apple Intelligence and the new generation of Siri.
