This software is used during repairs to re-pair components such as the logic board with the T2 security chip. When Apple releases such updates, this usually means that the respective device is about to be launched - according to the anonymous source to MacRumors. The US blog has not published corresponding screenshots in order not to endanger the tipster. However, no specific launch date has been announced so far. Since Apple has not sent out invitations to an October event, it can now be assumed that the device will be introduced via a press release.
Mac Pro 2019 specifications
The new Mac Pro is an absolute powerhouse. It is equipped with a new Intel Xeon processor and can accommodate up to 28 cores. The price of the new heavyweight starts at $5,999. The smallest model already comes with 8 cores and has 3.5 GHz - 4.0 GHz Turbo Boost. In the high-end version, the Mac Pro can be equipped with 28 cores - these clock at 2.5 GHz and a Turbo Boost of up to 4.4 GHz. As far as memory is concerned, the Mac Pro 2019 offers configurations with up to 1.5 TB of DDR4 ECC memory in 12 user-friendly DIMM slots.
For the graphics, there are two MPX modules that can be configured with up to four GPUs. In addition to the new Mac Pro 2019, Apple's latest screen is also expected. It remains to be seen whether Apple will release further products. Rumors suggest that Cupertino could be developing new third-generation AirPods and a new MacBook Pro with 16-inch screen diagonal.
