Apple has developed a new chip called the M3 Pro, which is currently being tested, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. This powerful chip features a 12-core CPU, an 18-core GPU, and an impressive 36GB of memory. The tests are taking place on a high-end MacBook Pro running the upcoming macOS 14 update. The chip is expected to be used in the next generation of MacBook Pro models, which will be released next year. The M3 Pro chip will be manufactured using TSMC's 3nm process to improve performance and power efficiency.

The M3 Pro chip represents an important step forward for Apple and promises a significant performance boost compared to the current M2 Pro chip. With additional cores for the CPU and GPU, the M3 Pro chip will push the boundaries of previous technology. Below we highlight the expected improvements and potential of the M3 Pro chip for future MacBook Pro models. Currently, the 14-inch MacBook Pro features the M2 Pro chip, which offers a 10-core CPU, a 16-core GPU, and 16GB of memory. The M3 Pro chip is expected to have at least two additional cores for the CPU and GPU, thus offering even better performance. With the launch of the M3 Pro chip, Apple plans to refresh its 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models next year. The decision to manufacture the M3 Pro chip using TSMC's 3nm process shows Apple's commitment to top performance and efficiency.

The integration of the M3 Pro chip will definitely push the boundaries of what MacBooks can do. Overall, everything indicates that the M3 Pro chip will be a milestone in the development of Apple computers. From improved performance to expanded features, it will offer users an even better and more efficient experience.
