WhatsApp will soon be adding new features to its voice messaging service. A report has now been published that introduces a new review tool.
In March, a feature was unveiled that allows voice messages to be played back at different playback speeds. However, the WhatsApp update in question is still pending. Now reported WABetaInfo, according to which WhatsApp is developing a kind of review tool for voice messages. The feature is currently still in development and therefore not available to testers. As soon as this function has been integrated, users will be able to listen to their audios directly before sending them. This is currently possible, but only indirectly. For example, if you record a memo and briefly leave the app at the same time, the voice message will be saved temporarily.

When you return to Messenger, you can then listen to, send, or delete the memo. According to WABetainfo, "this new feature will add a new review button that users can simply tap to listen to the voice message." After tapping the review button, the user will be able to listen to the voice message and then decide whether to delete or send it. It's currently unknown when the feature will roll out. But it's one of those features that WhatsApp users have long been requesting. (Photo by Unsplash / Dimitri Karastelev)
