The long-awaited streaming service, Disney Plus, has now officially launched in many parts of Europe, including Germany.

Attention Disney fans – the time has finally come. Disney Plus officially launched today in Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland and Great Britain. The subscription normally costs 6.99 euros per month. Users who opt for an annual subscription pay a total of 69.99 euros in advance and thus save around 14 euros. There is a separate subscription for Telekom customers, however. They do not pay a cent in the first six months. After this free phase, only 5 euros per month are charged. This is made possible by an exclusive partnership between Deutsche Telekom and Deutsche Telekom. Telekom and Disney itself.

Over 500 feature films and 350 series

Disney Plus already offers around 500 feature films, over 350 series and 25 originals - according to the provider, more content will be added later. Of course, the range of functions is already known. Up to four streams can run simultaneously and ten devices can be linked to one account. There is no download limit for the offline function, however. Compatible devices include Amazon Fire devices, LG Smart TVs, Samsung Smart TVs, Roku's streaming devices, Apple TV, iOS, Android, Xbox One and Playstation 4. iOS App Store: Disney+ (Photo by David Peperkamp / Bigstockphoto)
