Telekom announced an exclusive deal with Disney on its website today. According to this, Telekom customers will receive an advantage with Disney+.

Deutsche Telekom has publicly confirmed a new deal with Disney in a press release. Existing Deutsche Telekom customers (MagentaMobil, MagentaZuhause and MagentaTV) will receive free access to the new streaming service Disney+ for six months. But that's not all. After the six months, they will receive the Disney+ subscription for around 5 euros a month - instead of the regular 6.99 euros. This is what the press release says. press release:

For the launch of the Disney streaming service on March 24, Deutsche Telekom is the exclusive sales partner of Disney+ in Germany. It is launching with a sensational offer for all MagentaMobil, MagentaZuhause and MagentaTV customers.

Non-Telekom customers can also save

Jan Koeppen, President, The Walt Disney Company EMEA, commented:

With Disney+, we are entering a new era of innovation and creativity for Disney and creating a unique experience for fans. With Deutsche Telekom as our distribution partner for Disney+ in Germany, we can now offer millions of Telekom customers different ways to experience our films and series. All MagentaMobil, MagentaZuhause and MagentaTV customers receive Disney+ for 6 months at no extra charge. After that, Telekom contract customers can secure an attractive price advantage. The offer can be canceled monthly.

But it's not just Telekom customers who can save. Even though the deal is of course more attractive, other Disney fans can also benefit a little. Anyone who takes out an annual subscription with Disney by March 23rd pays 59.99 euros in advance and saves a total of 24 euros. The new streaming service launches on March 24th in Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland and Great Britain. (Photo by Kate Krav-Rude / Bigstockphoto)
