Mark Gurman – Bloomberg journalist and Apple leaker sticks to his Statementthat Cupertino will present a new MacBook Pro 16″ this evening. Now he has announced further details.
There is now no longer any doubt that Apple will present a new MacBook Pro with a 16-inch display diagonal this evening via a press release. According to Gurman, this will have improved speakers and a noise-canceling microphone. The display will be four percent larger than that of the 15.4-inch model. According to Gurman, the main focus will be on the resolution. However, he did not give any exact figures. IHS Markit analyst Jeff Lin claimed in the summer that the device would appear with 3,072 × 1,920 pixels. For comparison: the 15-inch MacBook Pro has a resolution of 2,880 × 1,800 pixels.
The professional notebook will also have a new keyboard - according to Gurman, this will be reminiscent of the current iMac keyboard. The journalist also believes that Apple will completely remove the current MacBook Pro 15" from the shelves when the new model is released - it will be priced in a similar range to the current model.
