At the beginning of April, we last read news about AirPower and saw a very blurry picture – now there is more information.

The well-known newcomer among the accurate leakers, Jon Prosser, has today published a new image of Apple's Qi charging mat AirPower and demonstrated the charging process of an Apple Watch with AirPods Pro. The product, codenamed "C68“ appears to be similar to the original AirPower introduced by Apple. Prossers According to sources, charging with an Apple Watch was not possible at the time because it uses a customized proprietary charging method.

When will Apple introduce AirPower?

The solution is said to be a built-in A11 chip in the charging mat. And here is the proof.

The processor controls the power supply and prevents overheating. When Prosser reported on this in April, he published a very blurry picture. Now he has provided two new images. While one of them shows the Accesories The charging process is clearly visible in the second picture. When Apple will finally present the charging mat remains to be seen. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted a smaller version of the original AirPower for this year - Apple may follow up this fall. (Image: Apple)
