The iPhone SE 4 is about to be released and will bring many new features that you wouldn't expect from a budget model. The camera technology and design in particular are very reminiscent of the current premium iPhones. With a 48 megapixel rear camera, an improved front camera and many other features, the new SE aims to offer high-end technology at an affordable price.

With the SE series, Apple has created an opportunity to make the latest technologies accessible to users who don't want to spend a lot of money. The iPhone SE 4 continues this approach consistently. Not only has the performance been improved, but the design and functions have also been improved. Anyone who previously thought that a cheap iPhone was just a stripped-down version of the expensive models could be proven wrong with the SE 4.

The Cameras: A Big Leap Forward

The iPhone SE 4 will be Report be equipped with a 48-megapixel rear camera. This camera will probably use the same technology as the main camera of the iPhone 16. This means that it can be used not only for normal photos but also for a 2x zoom without the image quality suffering. This so-called "Fusion" technology promises particularly sharp and detailed images. On the front there is a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera that enables high-quality selfies and video calls. This camera also supports functions such as Face ID, which is a great advantage for many users. The camera modules come mainly from LG Innotek, with additional support from Foxconn and Cowell Electronics. Apple is therefore relying on proven partners to ensure high quality.

The design: A mix of familiar and new

The design of the iPhone SE 4 is based on the iPhone 14. It will have a 6.06-inch OLED display, which provides a much better display compared to the previous SE models. The device will also be equipped with Face ID, which eliminates the need for Touch ID. This change not only brings a more modern appearance but also better ease of use. Another innovation is the USB-C port, which replaces the previous Lightning port. This should be particularly pleasing for users who already have other devices with USB-C, as the new standard is much more universally applicable. Also interesting is the possible introduction of an action button that replaces the previous mute switch. This button could be individually configured, for example for quick camera shortcuts or Do Not Disturb mode.

The hardware: strong and future-proof

There will also be many upgrades inside the iPhone SE 4. With 8 GB of RAM and the iPhone 14 battery, the device will offer strong performance while ensuring good battery life. Particularly worth mentioning is the new 5G chip, which was developed directly by Apple. This chip will not only enable faster connections but will also be more energy efficient than previous models.

Price and availability

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be launched in March 2025. With a price of around 530 euros, it remains an attractive offer, especially compared to Apple's much more expensive flagship models. This price makes it particularly interesting for users who are looking for a combination of modern technology and good value for money.

iPhone SE 4: Premium features at a budget price

The iPhone SE 4 has many features that you would normally only expect from the more expensive models. The combination of a powerful camera, a modern design and the latest hardware makes it an exciting option for anyone looking for a new smartphone. What is particularly impressive is how Apple manages to integrate these technologies into a device that will be available for relatively little money. If you are looking for a high-quality smartphone that does not break your budget, the iPhone SE 4 could be just the thing for you. (Image: Apple)
