At least, that is what several sources have been claiming for several months. But now Bloomberg with new details on the subject. In the case of the iPhone 8 with the power of the iPhone 11
The official iPhone SE successor will likely appear in the iPhone 8 look and feature the current A13 chip with 3 GB of RAM. The device is expected to continue to use Touch ID and, thanks to the casing, will have a slightly larger LCD screen – namely 4.7 inches diagonally. The camera, however, will remain untouched as part of the update. Accordingly, only one lens is to be expected. This configuration makes the base price of around 400 US dollars possible – as already claimed by well-informed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Whether the device will actually be called the "iPhone SE 2" remains unclear. According to some speculation, the name "iPhone 9" is even a possibility – who will ultimately be right remains to be seen.
