In less than three months, Apple will most likely introduce the iPhone 14 series. In recent months, some specifications have emerged. Now there are also details about the batteries.

Twitter user ShrimpApplePro, who has always found rumors about new Apple products on Chinese social media, shows a Contribution, which appears to have been deleted by Baidu, giving precise details about the batteries used. While you should view this post with skepticism, it is interesting to see that Apple could increase the battery size for two iPhone 14 models and slightly reduce the size of one of the versions compared to the current generation. According to the Baidu post, the regular iPhone 14 could have a 3,279 mAh battery while the iPhone 13 has 3,227 mAh.

iPhone 14 series: The front camera should also get an upgrade

The 14 Pro could have a 3,200mAh battery, compared to the iPhone 13 Pro's 3,095mAh. The 14 Pro Max, on the other hand, would have a slightly smaller 4,323mAh battery compared to the 13 Pro Max's 4,352mAh. The only model that cannot be compared is the upcoming iPhone 14 Plus/Max, which is said to have the largest battery of this generation at 4,325mAh.

Apart from the size of the battery, improvements are also expected in the area of the front camera. claimedthat the iPhone 14 will get the biggest front camera upgrade in years, with autofocus, a six-part lens, and a larger f/1.9 aperture. Additionally, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will likely get a new design with a hole-and-pill-shaped cutout instead of the familiar notch. (Image: Ian Zelebo x Jon Prosser)
