A new analysis has shown that Apple's expectations for the new iPhone 11 series are only slightly above the 2018 models.
Wedbush has published a new analysis in a note to investors. According to this, the analysts believe that Apple's expectations for iPhone 11 sales are only slightly above the iPhone 2018 series. With regard to the launch phase, Apple suppliers seem to be preparing for around 75 million units, which is only slightly above the same period last year. However, there should be enough capacity to increase production if iPhone 11 demand is higher - according to Wedbush. It is expected that some iPhone users will upgrade this year. But it is suspected that the majority will not be ready for an update until 2020 - the reason for this could be, among other things, the recent rumors surrounding the iPhone 2020 lineup Based on various reports about upcoming features, Wedbush sees the new triple camera as the main argument for an upgrade - but whether that is enough remains to be seen.
Apple TV+ for $10 a month?
The focus of the iPhone Pro series is said to be on the new triple camera - although it will have a strange design, it is said to have significantly better photo quality. The camera module combines a wide-angle, telephoto and ultra-wide-angle lens. The software in the iPhone 11 should be able to take a photo with each of the lenses individually and then combine them - the result would be high-resolution images that turn out much better even in low light. The camera system is also said to include a function called "Smart Frame" - a feature that allows perspective and cropping corrections when editing images - for some this could be a reason to upgrade, for others not.
Wedbush also believes that Apple will offer its new Apple TV+ service for around $10 a month - a bundle with Apple Music and Co. is not out of the question. It is generally assumed that the majority of fans will book a package. No one can say with certainty whether the iPhone 11 will actually be a success - we will see.
