Apple's "Back to School" promotion could provide clues to Apple's October event, as recently reported. Among other things, brand-new MacBook Pro models are expected.
As the US blog MacRumors reported, Apple's October event last year coincided with the end of the "Back to School" campaign in the US. The campaign ended on October 12th and the event took place the following day, October 13th. At that time, the iPhone 12 was unveiled, among other things. But now for the interesting part. This year, the "Back to School" campaign ends in the US on Monday, September 27th. In Europe, however, the campaign doesn't end until Monday, October 11th. Now MacRumors believes that the next Apple event could take place as early as October 12th.
Apple Event in October: New MacBooks and iPads in focus
On September 15 of last year, Apple extended its "Back to School" promotion in the US until Monday, October 12. At the time, the extension seemed insignificant, but Apple later announced that it would hold an event on Tuesday, October 13, just one day after the promotion ended.
It has been speculated for some time that Apple will announce a new line of MacBook Pro models equipped with the latest generation of Apple Silicon processors. It is also claimed that the company is close to introducing the 9th generation iPad and a redesigned iPad mini. Both product lines are to be unveiled at a second Apple event. Interestingly, Mark Gurman recently claimed that a second event is planned. So MacRumors' theory is not completely far-fetched. All in all, things should remain pretty exciting. (Image: Apple)
