WhatsApp is working on introducing a new group icon editor reminiscent of iMessage. This will give group admins an additional design option.

Loud WABetaInfo WhatsApp is introducing this new group icon editor in beta version 2.21.190.11, which allows users to create an icon by selecting a background color and an emoji or sticker. If you are running the WhatsApp beta, here's what you can do:

  • Open the group info and tap the camera icon to change the group icon.
  • If you see a new option called “Emoji & Stickers,” it means you can now use this feature.

If the option is not displayed in your account, you will have to wait until WhatsApp rolls out the feature across the board in the beta. And this is what it looks like:

Apple devices here aren't test units for a fortnight but everyday tools: from the iPhone to the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac through to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it goes live.
