Some users of a MacBook Pro 16″ model are currently experiencing an audio problem. Strange noises occur when playing music or videos – but this should soon be over.
Yesterday we talked about reportedthat users of a MacBook Pro 16″ model are increasingly complaining about sound problems. The topic is being discussed under the title “cracking/popping sound”. This is said to result in strange noises when playing music or videos. An official statement from Apple is still pending, but an internal document reveals the plan. As our colleagues at MacRumors report, authorized Apple service partners have received information. It says:
When using Final Cut Pro X, Logic Pro X, QuickTime Player, Music, Movies, or other applications to play audio, users may hear a pop from the speakers after playback stops. Apple is investigating the issue. A fix is planned for future software updates. Do not establish service or replace the user's computer as this is a software-related issue.

As expected, the problem is a software error. It remains to be seen when the corresponding update will actually be released. However, it can be assumed that the update will be released soon. (Photo by NZPhotography / Bigstockphoto)
