The second season of the TV+ series “Dickinson” is reportedly getting reinforcements.
Apple has not yet confirmed a second season of "Dickinson" and the like. However, reports indicate that plans are already in the works – including for "Dickinson." However, a casting call will be held before filming begins, according to Variety. The magazine claims to have learned that actors Finn Jones and Pico Alexander will appear in the second season of "Dickinson." "Dickinson" is a half-hour comedy that boldly explores the constraints of society, gender, and family from the perspective of the rebellious young poet Emily Dickinson (played by Hailee Steinfeld).
Jones will play Samuel Bowles, a newspaper editor who was a close friend of Dickinson's. There was speculation that Bowles had a romantic interest, referenced by Dickinson in some of her poems, but these speculations have so far remained unconfirmed. Alexander, meanwhile, will portray Henry "Ship" Shipley, a college dropout and cross-town Dickinson. In addition to the new faces, familiar characters from the first season will also return, though it remains unknown when the second season might actually begin. (Image: Apple TV+)
