Apple has released a new announcement providing important information about the availability of the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro Max and HomePod mini devices as well as matching accessories.
The company reminds that the 5.4-inch and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 and the HomePod mini can be pre-ordered starting tomorrow. While the two iPhone devices will be delivered on November 13th, pre-orderers will receive the first HomePod mini models on November 16th. Pre-orders will be accepted tomorrow in over 40 countries. Apple's own leather cases for the iPhone 12 devices are also available. Normally, silicone and leather cases go on sale together. This year, however, that was not the case. That caused a lot of confusion. Apple itself, however, pointed out in the small print that the leather cases will be released on November 6th. Now the company has repeated the whole thing. confirmedHowever, no date was given regarding the MagSafe Duo charger. The announcement states:
MagSafe Duo Charger: Market launch could be later than expected
MagSafe accessories will be available on apple.com, in the Apple Store app, and in stores. Leather cases with MagSafe for all iPhone 12 models will be available to order starting Friday, November 6. Leather cases and MagSafe Duo Charger will be available at a later date.
Interestingly, the phrase "at a later date" was retained with regard to the MagSafe Duo charger. Some now believe the new charger might not be released until next year. The reason for this is that the company typically only uses phrases like "before the end of the year" when it's absolutely certain. Therefore, observers now conclude that the market launch of the new charger has not yet been determined. Pre-orders will open as usual at 2:00 p.m. in Germany.
