Apple released iOS 14.8, iPadOS 14.8, watchOS 7.6.2 and macOS Big Sur 11.6 to all users worldwide this evening.
The new software version for iPhone and iPad has already been announced. To be precise, clues were discovered in the Xcode code. Now Apple has made the update available and at the same time the Mac and the Apple Watch updated. Both iPhone and iPad can be updated as usual via Settings -> General -> in the Software Update area. As expected, no new features have been added to the versions. However, according to the update description, security has been improved. Since Apple has not yet updated its website for security notices, it is not known which vulnerabilities have been fixed. As soon as we know something, we will of course report on it.
