Instagram also has news to announce today – after removing the stalking feature and adding dark mode and a new phishing defense feature, the story is now getting something new.
Instagram has introduced a new feature called "Create" in its story functionality. Several buttons have been integrated into the new "Create" mode, which is intended to make it easier for users to post stories without their own images – reports TechCrunchA completely new feature – based on an existing function – is "On this day." Users can use this tab to select a random feed post that they shared on the same calendar day in the past directly in their story. The feature is primarily intended to facilitate access to the archive – therefore, it is an evolution. In addition to the "On this day" button, there are of course other useful tabs. Users have options such as "GIF," "Countdown," "Quiz," "Poll," "Questions," and "Answers" at their disposal. All of these existing stickers can be shared directly in your story from the new "Creation Mode" without the need for an additional photo. Instagram describes the new feature as follows:

"This new mode lets you combine interactive stickers, drawings, and text without the need for a photo or video to share. "On This Day" suggests reminders and lets you share them via Direct and Stories."
The new mode can be accessed directly from the story itself. To do so, open the "Post to your story" section and swipe from left to right at the bottom of the screen to access the "Create" section. From here, you can directly access the stickers mentioned above and corresponding suggestions. Do you have an Instagram account?
