As expected, Apple introduced the new iPhone generation during its “By innovation only” keynote – the successor to the colorful iPhone XR is officially called iPhone 11.
The iPhone 11 is the new entry-level iPhone and thus the successor to the iPhone XR. A lot was already known about the new iPhone generation in advance. It still has a 6.1-inch LCD display and includes True Tone technology. The biggest innovation is the camera. As numerous leaks and rumors have shown, the iPhone 11 will appear with a dual camera - packed in an admittedly somewhat strange square, but we were already prepared for it. According to Apple, the iPhone 11 camera includes wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses and not, as many assumed, a wide-angle and telephoto lens.
front camera with 12 megapixels
As part of the update, a new night mode was also integrated. This is automatically activated to adjust the photos accordingly. The iPhone 11 also offers the next generation of Smart HDR. One of the new features is called QuickTake. The function allows the user to start a new video recording by simply holding down the shutter button for a longer period of time. The front camera was not left untouched either. It now has 12 megapixels with wide-angle selfie support in landscape format. Videos can be recorded in 4k at 60 fps - a slow motion function is also available.
