At WWDC 2019, Apple introduced two new hardware products - the new Mac Pro and Apple Pro Monitor XDR. Now Apple has accidentally revealed the launch date on its own homepage.

The new devices are real high-end products from Apple - the Mac Pro 2019 and Apple Pro Monitor XDR are primarily intended to appeal to film studios and the like. The Mac Pro can be equipped with a new Intel Xeon processor and accommodate up to 28 cores. The price of the new heavyweight starts at 5,999 US dollars. The smallest model already comes with 8 cores and has 3.5 GHz - 4.0 GHz Turbo Boost. In the high-end version, the Mac Pro can be equipped with 28 cores - these clock at 2.5 GHz and a Turbo Boost of up to 4.4 GHz. As far as memory is concerned, the Mac Pro 2019 offers configurations with up to 1.5 TB of DDR4 ECC memory in 12 user-friendly DIMM slots. For graphics, there are two MPX modules that can be configured with up to four GPUs.

Apple Monitor of Superlatives

The new Apple Pro Monitor XDR is also impressive. The new backlight gives the display a brightness of up to 1600 nits. The 32" monitor offers a resolution of 6015 x 2284 - according to Apple, this is a 6K Retina display. In order to offer true HDR, every single LED in the backlight is calibrated at the factory. The Pro Display XDR has an anti-reflective coating to control the reflected light.

It also has a matte option that the company calls nanotexture, where the glass is etched at the nanometer level to achieve low reflectivity and less glare. But when will the two products be released? According to Apple, the professional tool will be available from autumn. But a small spoiler from the company has revealed the exact launch date.

Apple website treacherous

This is not the first time that certain information has been revealed prematurely by Apple itself - the error is probably due to the technology. If you open the Mac Pro section on apple.com, you can find out more information about the professional computer - there is a "notify me" button. Users can enter their email address and are automatically informed about the release date. Normally, the top of this box says "released this fall" - but the content was changed at short notice to "released this September". The error was quickly discovered and corrected in Cupertino. However, it remains unknown whether the devices will be delivered in September - it is conceivable that Apple will accept pre-orders in September and start shipping the two professional products in October.
