Will Apple hold another event in October and present new products or not? This question remains relevant. If so, when could the Apple Keynote take place? We'll tell you.
Just recently we have seen all the rumors about an iPad Pro 4, MacBook Pro 16-inch and more summarizedWe have come to the conclusion that these devices could possibly be presented as part of another keynote in October. But we have not covered one important point - the date. First of all, we are once again in a speculative bubble. Our Analysis of the September Event may have turned out to be true, but that doesn't mean we'll be right again. But a look into the past should fuel the whole thing. As most of you know, Apple usually introduces new iPhone and Apple Watch models in September - Mac and iPad devices usually follow in October. Here's a rough look into the past.
2010 – On Wednesday, October 20, 2010 (invitation October 13), Apple introduced the second generation of the MacBook Air as part of the “Back to Mac” keynote.
2011 – On Tuesday, October 4, 2011 (invitation September 27), Apple introduced the iPhone 4S with Siri as part of the “Let's talk iPhone” keynote.
2012 – On Tuesday, October 23, 2012 (invitation October 16), Apple introduced the 13″ MacBook with Retina display, a thinner iMac, the iPad 4 with Lightning connector and an iPad Mini as part of the “We've got a little more to show you” keynote.
2013 – On Tuesday, October 22, 2013 (invitation October 15), Apple introduced a new MacBook Pro, iPad Air and iPad mini 2 as part of the “We still have a lot to cover” keynote.
2014 -On Thursday, October 16, 2014 (invitation October 8), Apple introduced the iMac with 5K Retina display, the Mac mini and the iPad Air 2 as part of the "It's been way too long" keynote.
2015 – No Apple Event!
2016 – On Thursday, October 27th (invitation October 19th), Apple introduced the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar as part of the “Hello again.” keynote.
2017 – No Apple Event!
2018 – On Thursday, October 30, 2018 (invitation October 18), Apple presented the current iPad Pro with Face ID, a new MacBook Air and a Mac mini as part of the "There's more in the making" keynote.
In the last nine years, seven October events have been held - so it is reasonable to suspect that something will happen this year too. The rumors about a new MacBook Pro are now overwhelming. Of course, there is no guarantee that Apple will actually hold another event. However, if that is really the case, the October 28th (Monday) or the October 29th (Tuesday) will be particularly hot candidates – this is also what Apple analyst Neil Cybart believes.
On the one hand, with one exception, all October events took place in the second half of the month – on the other hand, according to Cybart, the next quarterly conference seems strange. According to his observation, Apple has held the last five such conferences on Tuesdays – but this time the company has chosen a Wednesday. Whether that is enough of a hint is up to each individual to decide. If the Apple event in October really takes place, a lot of people will certainly be happy about it.
