Apple TV will release "Unconditional" worldwide on Friday, May 8, 2026. The first two episodes will be available at launch, followed by one new episode per week, every Friday. The season finale is scheduled for June 19, 2026. The first season will consist of eight episodes. The series will premiere in Israel on Keshet 12 in April. International distribution will be handled by Keshet International.
Plot and thematic framework
"Unconditional" tells the story of a mother-daughter vacation that turns into a nightmare. 23-year-old Gali is arrested for drug smuggling during a stay in Moscow. For her mother, Orna, the situation is clear: she doesn't believe the accusations and refuses to accept them.
What begins as a personal struggle escalates into a dangerous confrontation with criminal networks and political corruption. As Orna tries to uncover the truth behind the arrest and secure Gali's freedom, she becomes increasingly entangled in a deadly web of abuse of power and crime. The series blends family drama with international tension and moral conflict.
Creative minds and production
The series was written by Adam Bizanski, known for "Magpie", among other works. Dana Idisis, who previously worked on "On the Spectrum", serves as co-writer. Jonathan Gurfinkel, known for "The Accursed", directed the series.
"Unconditional" is produced by Spiro Films for Keshet 12. Executive producers include Eitan Mansuri and Jonathan Doweck, who previously worked on "No Man’s Land" and "When Heroes Fly". Also serving as executive producers are Adam Bizanski and Dana Idisis, Avi Nir of Keshet Media Group, Keren Shahar of Keshet International, and Karni Ziv, Yuval Horowitz, and Eze Sakson of Keshet 12. Keshet International is handling worldwide distribution.
