Things will be quieter on Apple TV+ in July, but no less interesting. Two major series are returning with new seasons, plus select premieres and fresh episodes of ongoing series. Science fiction fans, in particular, will get their money's worth. Here's what's new on Apple TV+ in July and when you should tune in.
Apple TV+ positioned itself well in the first half of the year with strong productions like "Silo," "Shrinking," and "Severance." In July, the focus is on sequels: "Foundation" is particularly attracting attention with Season 3. The documentary series "The Wild Ones" and new episodes of "Stick," "Smoke," and "The Buccaneers" also round out the lineup. There's also a new Snoopy special for kids. Here's the complete rundown.
Foundation – Season 3 – Starts on July 11

The third season of the lavishly produced series is based, as before, on the novels by Isaac Asimov. It tells the story of a group of exiles fighting against the fall of the Galactic Empire and attempting to save civilization. The production is one of Apple TV+'s most expensive and ambitious projects. Anyone who has seen the first two seasons will hardly want to miss the sequel.
The Wild Ones – New documentary series – Starts on July 11

"The Wild Ones" is the launch of a new documentary series that combines expeditions, animal conservation, and modern camera technology. The team consists of former Royal Marines Commando Aldo Kane, wildlife expert Declan Burley, and nature filmmaker Vianet Djenguet. They travel to six countries: Malaysia, Mongolia, Armenia, Indonesia, Canada, and Gabon. They film rare species such as the Malayan tiger, the Gobi bear, the Javan rhinoceros, the North Atlantic right whale, and other elusive species.
Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical – Opening July 18th

The new Snoopy special is a musical themed around summer camp. Charlie Brown wants to make his last year at camp special, while Sally is there for the first time and has to get used to everything. Meanwhile, Snoopy and Woodstock discover a treasure map that leads to a little adventure. The special is aimed at children and families, but is also well-suited to Peanuts fans.
Acapulco – Season 4 – Starts on July 23

In the fourth season of the series about the luxury hotel Las Colinas, Máximo once again takes center stage. In the present, he tries to get the hotel ready for its grand reopening. Flashbacks to 1986 show the young Máximo doing everything he can to get back to number one on Acapulco's hotel list. The series stays true to its style, mixing nostalgia with humor.
New episodes in July: Smoke, Stick and The Buccaneers
Even though no brand new series are launching in July, several ongoing formats are continuing their seasons:
- “Stick” is a golf comedy with Owen Wilson, which runs until July 23 with new episodes
- “The Buccaneers,” a historical drama in the style of “Bridgerton,” continues until August 6
- “Smoke,” a crime thriller from the team behind “Black Bird,” delivers new episodes until August 15
This means that despite fewer premieres, the offering remains varied, especially for those who like to watch new episodes every week.
