The iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max were introduced in September 2018 in three different color variants. In addition to space gray and silver, gold is offered as a third version. Now a red variant is supposedly to be released - (Product)RED.

Apple and the (RED) Global Fund have been in partnership for around 13 years. A portion of all sales from products with the (Product) RED seal is donated to the fight against AIDS. The products include accessories as well as iPhone models. Now the blog iPhoneHacks has found a hint on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. According to this, Apple is planning to introduce a red iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max in China. It remains to be seen when a market launch will take place in other countries - but it is expected that this will happen soon. In the past, Apple has already added the color red to an iPhone series twice in the spring - the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. If the report turns out to be correct, Apple will announce the launch with a simple press release.
