iPhone 17 Pro Leak Apple

Apple is known for keeping innovations secret until the last minute. Nevertheless, information regularly leaks out – often from the supply chain, sometimes from industry insiders. This time, it's about a possible new color option for the iPhone 17 Pro. According to a recent report, Sky Blue could be the new special color for 2025. Read here to find out whether this is true and what's known so far.

The iPhone 17 Pro hasn't been officially announced yet, but rumors about its features, design, and technical specifications are already circulating. The information about the color scheme is particularly striking: Sky Blue is said to be a serious option for the next iPhone Pro model. Leaker Majin Bu claims to have learned that Apple is already testing corresponding prototypes. Read on to find out what's true about this story and why it's remarkable.

Sky Blue as a new special color for the iPhone 17 Pro

Majin Bu, a leaker who has repeatedly attracted attention in recent months with accurate advance information about Apple products, reports on his website that Apple is working on several color variants for the iPhone 17 Pro. One of them: Sky Blue. This color is said to have performed particularly well in internal tests. According to sources from Apple's supply chain, the shade looks brighter and more sophisticated on the prototypes than the familiar Sierra Blue from the iPhone 13 Pro. If Apple sticks with this variant, Sky Blue could be presented as an exclusive color for the iPhone 17 Pro launch in September 2025. Apple is known for introducing a special color for the Pro series every year that stands out from the standard colors like black, silver, or titanium. Last year, for example, it was Desert Titanium.

Connection to the M4 MacBook Air

Also interesting is the connection with the M4 MacBook Air. This was introduced in Sky Blue a few weeks ago. It would be the first time Apple has used the same striking color on both a Mac and an iPhone in the same year. Typically, the devices remain color-separated to give each a distinct identity. If Apple does take this step, it could indicate a stronger visual branding strategy—or simply the popularity of the color (via MajinBu Official).

How reliable is Majin Bu?

Majin Bu has provided several accurate leaks in the past, although not every single one was correct. Recently, however, he's been coming out with more credible information. According to him, his current statements are based on direct sources within Apple's supply chain. This suggests a certain degree of reliability, but there will naturally be some uncertainty until the official unveiling. It's also possible that Apple will make changes shortly before launch—that's not unusual for color variants. So, if Sky Blue doesn't come out after all, it's not necessarily because the information was wrong, but because Apple has changed its mind.
