Kiev, Ukraine - November 13, 2019: New white smartphone Apple Computers iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max smartphone with three cameras or lenses on a yellow desktop.

The iPhone 12 series is said to consist of four different models in three sizes, including 5.4-, 6.1- and 6.7-inch. But the 5.4-inch version could be the long-awaited iPhone SE 2 with Face ID - at least the size suggests so.

There are now countless dummies of the individual iPhone 12 models. They were made based on circuit diagrams and rumors and are intended to give a rough idea of what to expect in the fall. iPhone SE 2016 fans are still mourning the loss of the smart device. Their greatest wish - a worthy successor in the same size with Face ID. Apple, on the other hand, has introduced a new entry-level device based on the iPhone 8 case - a big disappointment for some. But there is a candidate that could meet exactly these requirements. The 5.4-inch model of the iPhone 12 series is said to be only slightly larger than the original iPhone SE and at the same time smaller than the iPhone 7.

iPhone 12 with 5.4″ – the secret iPhone SE successor?

A detailed comparison has MacRumors Reader iZac made this and published it in the MacRumors forum. He purchased such a dummy model on the Internet and described it in detail.

According to them, it is still handy and compact. It could actually be the secret successor to the iPhone SE, which was originally introduced in 2016. Of course, iZac also measured the whole thing. He found that the 5.4-inch iPhone is about 6 mm wider than the first generation iPhone SE and at the same time 3 mm narrower than the iPhone 7. If the model actually ends up being like that, many iPhone SE users will have a real reason to upgrade. Below you will find a short summary of this year's line-up.
