Yesterday a picture was published showing the use of the LiDAR scanner in the iPhone 12 Now the same source has provided further images.
The Twitter account Choco_bit has published two more images that could have come from an iPhone 12 repair manual or something similar. While only the back was shown yesterday, today the front of the alleged iPhone 12 can also be seen. The interesting thing is the notch - it seems to be smaller overall. If the images are real, they would confirm previous reports that this year's iPhone 12 series could appear with a smaller notch for the first time. According to previous reports, the complete removal of the iPhone notch will occur in the next two years.
Picture shows project “Avocado”
Since the iPhone 12 is set to feature a completely new design, the notch change would fit in quite well with the redesign. In addition to the front and back views, another image was released, which is supposed to show the home screen. The home screen clearly appears to consist of widgets – Apple's "Avocado" project. A few days ago, we reported that Apple is testing widgets in iOS 14 – more on that below. As already mentioned, whether the images are authentic cannot be verified. However, the account has already performed well in the past. Nevertheless, a healthy dose of skepticism is always necessary. (Photo by HalfPoint / Bigstockphoto)
