As WWDC 2020 draws closer and rumors about new Mac hardware increase, iPhone 12 reports to pause for now – until today.
A new DigiTimes According to reports, things are now becoming more concrete regarding iPhone 12 development. The Taiwanese news site stated that Apple has reached the second phase of its "EVT" (Engineering Validation and Testing) phase. The process could be completed by the end of June, meaning mass production could begin in July. It remains unclear whether this actually applies to all four models. Reports suggest that the iPhone 12 Pro Max had issues with its antenna design, which is why it could be the last device to be released.
Apple Keynote in September or October?
In addition, observers have already suggested that the iPhone 12 series could be released in stages in October or November. If, contrary to expectations, all four devices go into mass production in July, there is a possibility that the entire lineup will debut at the same time. However, it remains to be seen when Apple will actually present the devices. Some believe that due to the delays, the keynote could be held in October instead of September. However, there are indications that the presentation could take place in September despite all the circumstances. So it remains exciting as always! (Photo by Pierre-Olivier / Bigstockphoto)
