Instead, according to Min-soo, the iPhone 17 will see the introduction of a foldable device, while the iPhone 18 Pro may offer a full screen without a dynamic island. Min-soo explains:
Apple is expected to launch a 7- to 8-inch foldable iPhone in 2026. But before that happens, consumers can look forward to the iPhone SE4 next year, followed by the launch of the iPhone 17 series in the second half of 2025, all of which will feature LTPO TFT.
The integration of Face ID under the display will allow the iPhone lineup to be differentiated, according to Min-soo. Originally planned for the iPhone 16, this feature is now expected to be introduced in 2027. But with the launch of a foldable iPhone, he believes Apple will continue to outperform the competition.
