Now pictures have appeared on Twitter showing a bunch of new charging cases for the AirPods. The pictures were published by the Twitter account Mr. White – a leaker who has already published pictures of prototypes from Apple’s laboratories in the past. Due to the fact that the new charging cases hardly differ visually from the old generation, Mr. White When asked, he said that this is a new version that has not yet been released. He did not provide any details about the specifications.
It remains to be seen whether this is just the version with wireless charging, as introduced by Apple in 2017. Analysts currently expect the AirPods 2 to be introduced in spring 2019.
